Disclaimer: This is mostly just a blog for my family and friends. There will be times when I'll talk of things nobody except them will understand, and there will be times when I'll talk of things only I will understand. Either way, here I am.
To start off, my name is Chelsea. I've been called Bella, Two-Bit Kit, Jael Wilde, Margaret Looslip, the Sound Nazi, as well as many other things. But most of my friends call me Chelsea, just your standard 17 year old high school girl.
This past friday, I completed my last day as a junior. I'm a drama kid, have been since my first semester of my sophomore year. I've been a part of 4 high school plays so far, and will be in my 5th this coming semester. Theater has always been a huge part of my life, but my real passion is film. Ever since I met Alex Campbell about 3 years ago at Camp Chatuga, where I spent half my life, I've fallen in love with it. I realized I had a filmmaker's mind when I first started writing. Aside from film, I've always loved writing; it's always come naturally to me. Anyway, cinematography is something I'm planning to pursue. I adore it.
A few other things you'll see me talking about a lot are the Tortuga Twins (the funniest, sweetest guys you'll ever meet), Outward Bound (one of the biggest life changers for me), and my summer. This is the first year where I have hardly any plans and it scares me. Ever since I was 8, I'd been attending Camp Chatuga every summer, which always gave me something to look forward to. Last summer, I also had Outward Bound, which took me nearly the whole summer to prepare for. But this year, I'm too old for camp, and too poor for OB, leaving me stuck at home for the summer. I do have a few things planned (like a trip to Florida with my mom in a week), which I'll be writing about for sure. But I plan to not have this be one of the many boring blogs. So in case anyone besides family decides to read it, I'll hopefully be posting updates on a screenplay I'm hoping to finish and film over the summer, my one goal.
Until tomorrow,
- chelsea.
